The Outsourcing of Katie the Beagle Poetry

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and so to address our slipping beagle-haiku market share, and to keep pace with the hectic beagle poetry market, I have begun increasing the size of the Katie the Beagle staff through the use of contractors who are willing to work for the revolutionary price of "free" as we create an abundance of online beagle poetry to better serve you, the Katie-the-Beagle poetry consumer.

Our first Katie the Beagle poetry assignment went to frequent Patio Boat contributor Mary Campbell-Droze, whose topic is the rabbit that has taken up residence in our lakeside tiger lillies:

Bunny, beagle, tiger lily
Lend themselves to rhyme that's silly.
Bun ventures out, and Kate'll chase her,
As that's the way with Mother Nature.

-- Mary Campbell-Droze

The ever-expanding Katie the Beagle poetry staff thanks you for your continued support.
