I had to update my out-of-office message at work today, and came across the wee poem I left to greet my many e-mail correspondents when I departed on The Big Road Trip. I kinda like it, so I reckoned I'd share it here:
I'm camping with the grizzly bears,
and prairie dogs with squinty stares.
Perhaps I'll see a rabbit, jack.
I'll let you know when I get back.
Come to think of it, I probably should've added a photo of a grizzly bear and a photo of a squinting prairie dog to this post, just to prove that I'm a man of my word.
ReplyDeleteAlso, just to let you know ... we did indeed see quite a few jackrabbits. Alas, I now realize that I didn't take a picture of one. Doh!
