Monique, do you remember when in Minnesota we used to hear (though WE did not say): "Escape to Wisconsin"? Those Wisconsinites need all the help they can get right now...
Wow! We kind of wish we were in either of those places. Here in Paris it's rainy and gloomy. Snowy and gloomy is always better than rainy and gloomy. Lucky yous! Monique looks great in that cool orange pareo. Wonder where that came from?
Wonderful. You've captured the feeling very well, my dear. What an adjustment.
ReplyDeleteBut, I think you meant that "...next year we flee Michigan for two weeks!" much as the idea of fleeing again next week has appeal.
Ooops. A wee Freudian slip there. I'm certainly ready to run away for another couple of weeks right now!

ReplyDeleteOh. I was expecting a whole novel of photos and got a poem. Maybe even a haiku.
ReplyDeleteJohn, is that a BOOK you're holding in your hands there under the palm tree at the beach?
ReplyDeleteWhat is this "book" of which you speak? That's my "analog reading device."
